Centered between Scranton and Wilkes-Barre, the new Geisinger outpatient facility finds its home in Pittston Township, PA. The new facility will improve availability of many health services, ranging from surgeries to eye care. The Healthplex will be home to nine clinical suites that will specialize in surgery, orthopedics, urology, ophthalmology, imaging, and hybrid medical care.
During the design phase, mechanical contractor, Worth and Company, consulted with UEP Northeast on the boiler room design centered around two 200 HP Hurst S-500 Scotch Marine Boilers. UEP Northeast supplied a Hurst Duplex Boiler Feed along with two Hurst Blowdown Separators with Aftercoolers to go with the boilers. To finish out the project, we also supplied Schebler Model PA Boiler Flue which will ensure proper venting of the boilers for years to come!
